Claire Boonstra is a graphic designer and sign painter based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

After graduating from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Claire apprenticed for Forrest Wozniak, local sign painter, also freelancing and designing for Alight, a local nonprofit. Now, Claire is working at a printing press, painting their own signs, and still freelancing.

Claire’s design and paint work is inspired by classic sign painting; pulling from old storefront designs, their lettering peers and community, as well as the thousands of photos designers (including Claire) seem to take of everyday objects featuring good design.
